Martin LeDuc Memorial Fund

MARTIN RICHARD LEDUCYour time volunteering must be valued but we can never put a value on that time. How can you value something that is priceless?

Martin LeDuc passed away on November 12 and we are saddened to lose such a vibrant member of our community and Friends’ Volunteer Extraordinaire.

From his tireless work with forest restoration, creating tools (never losing his millwright skills), to his generous donations to our 4th of July auction, working in our office, his kind words, funny stories – Martin LeDuc you will be missed!

Martin was born in Detroit, Michigan and worked as a millwright in automobile factories and power plants.  He lived in the Glenwood area of our island and is survived by brothers, Richard and James; sister, Cyndi; and one aunt.

If you would like to make a donation to Friends of Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park in Memory of Martin LeDuc, you may do so here
