GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN

Aloha Members and Friends

Unfortunately, due to the government shutdown, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park will be closed until further notice.

Because our office is located inside of the National Park, we will temporarily move to another location – outside of the park in Volcano, Hawaii.

OUR OFFICE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS - we will maintain operations and we will continue to be staffed full-time!

We need to continue the critically important support of Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park.  Grant writing, program planning, fundraising and institutes on demand will still happen.  Stay tuned for program changes.

Walks and restoration projects scheduled for later this month will not be cancelled at this time.  If the government is still shut down, we will make alternative walk and restoration plans.
