“When we first went to visit ‘Ainahou Ranch, my husband and I decided we wanted to become members of Friends of Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park.  It was at another Friends’ event, at Kahuku Ranch, that I met Sharron Faff and was recruited to help with the Friends’ membership database and mailings.   That was in 2006 – I’m still maintaining the database and preparing membership renewal reminders and ‘Mahalo’ letters.  I feel appreciated for the volunteer work that I do, and I’m happy to help in this small way!”
